Astrology is an amazing body of knowledge that deepens our appreciation of the Divine plan in all creation and how this plan is expressed in our relationships and  our own unique gifts and talents.  Unlike some types of psychotherapy which emphasize “dysfunction,” soul-centered astrology discusses strengths, vulnerabilities, balances, imbalances, challenges, blocks, and opportunities.    It conceptualizes all growth as cyclical in nature and encourages us to accept and appreciate ourselves and each other exactly as we are in the moment, with the understanding and trust that everything grows and changes.

An astrological consultation can be used as a supplement to spiritual guidance or psychotherapy, or can stand on its own merits as a unique service.

Your birth chart shows your “blueprint” in this lifetime – the growth opportunities and challenges you face.  However, throughout the lifetime we are given additional opportunities, challenges and possibilities and choice how to respond.

Soul-centered astrology analyzes specific points in your birth chart in a unique way, particularly your ascendant (or rising sign), Chiron and your North Node, to suggest your soul purpose in this lifetime and potential blocks to manifesting that purpose.

The solar return chart is an overview of the major challenges and opportunities in a particular year of  life.   A transit report discusses how the current energies interact with the energies in your birth chart. The transit report gives specific dates of possible points of tension and good fortune, but does not reflect the major themes that are discussed in a solar return report.

A relationship consultation compares two birth charts and shows where both people are compatible,  where there are difficulties interacting, and how to overcome these difficulties.

And finally, astrology can assist you in looking at the major turning points in life.  These turning points are periods during which we either feel really “stuck” or we review the growth we have and have not made.  Each turning point is have another chance to address these issues and benefit accordingly.  Turning points occur on a cyclical basis between age 27 and through age 84, based on the cycles of Chiron, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto.    This approach is very helpful in making sense out of challenging phases in life and offers insight into how to use these difficult times to create emotional, mental and spiritual growth.
