Monthly Meditation

I AM WHOLE, I AM AN EXPRESSION OF THE DIVINE

“Whoever can see through all fear will always be safe.”  — Tao te Ching

From the book Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert:

“The Yogis say that “Ham-sa” is the most natural mantra, the one we are all given…before birth.  It is the sound of our own breath….every time we breathe in or out, we are repeating this mantra.  I am That.  I am divine.  I am with God.  I am an expression of God.  I am not separate, I am not alone.  I am not this limited illusion of an individual.”

March Meditation

May this month bring us all a deeper mindfulness about our connectedness to one another and our planet.   In these troubling times, may we put our fears aside and reach out to and support one another.    May our statewide, national and global troubles bring us closer together and more conscious of our responsibility to each other and our precious earth.    May we take better care of one another, while we still have the opportunity to do so.    Peace, abundance, and well-being.

December Meditation

In most spiritual traditions, this is a time of honoring light in the darkness, holding hope in difficult times, using difficult times to expand our consciousness, and share our blessings and love. Let us use this time to share our love for our beautiful but threatened planet. Let us raise our awareness and take better care of our environment, to reduce pollution and live a green life. Find a way to help protect an endangered animal, to recycle, to politically advocate for causes that speak to you. Giving the gift of your time, energy and resources will empower and connect you to other caring and conscious individuals.

A blessed and healing holiday and a truly new year.

October Meditation

Opening to the transformational fall energies:

Awareness of bright strong contrasts between lingering summer greens,

Frost-induced oranges, golds, yellows and browns.

The rich tangy smell of the open earth absorbing fallen leaves,

Transforming the mulch into a cushioning layer for new growth.

Deepening darkness amidst the crisp fresh air of fall nights,

The moon and stars seem lower, closer, more accessible,

Their lumination stronger and more intense.

Awareness of how my energy responds to the fall transformation –

More alert, more psychic, more vital, excited about deep possibilities.

Validation from the Celtics  who believe that the barrier between physical world and spiritual worlds dissolve at Samhain/Halloween.

A wonderful time to tap deeply into my own intuitive and psychic abilities and

With Divine Guidance use these innate talents for the greater good of all.

What a marvelous harvest!

September Meditation

Letting go of the need to control…is surrender and release.

Letting go of the hurt…is forgiveness and healing.

Letting go of the resistance…is acceptance and freedom.

Letting go of possession…is love and openness.

To let go again requires Grace — Divine Support.

Let us begin by seeking Grace to let go and  and expressing Gratitude for our many blessings.

Adapted by Patty; original author unknown.

Contemplate the difference between letting go and opening up versus quitting or giving up.     Letting go is an active, positive choice.   Quitting or giving up is a collapse due to energy loss from  depression, hopelessness or a lack of awareness about other choices.    Let go and make room for so much more.
